The following are our rules for player protects and ride share requests by age group. These rules were created to help ensure team parity in the league, as well as prevent "stacking" of teams.
Head Coach and Assistant Coaches Registered Participants - The registered players for the head coach and assistant coach will always be assigned to the same team as the head coach and assistant coach.
Ride-Share Requests For Coaches - Each coach is allowed one ride-share request if needed. These should be used if there is a player who needs assistance from you to attend practices and games. If you have a ride-share request, that player needs to attend evaluations or it will not be honored. Players who are approved for a ride-share for your will cost you a draft pick, the draft pick that is selected will be agreed upon by the other coaches prior to the draft and will be based on how the player evaluated.
Ride-Share Requests For Other Players - We allow ride-share requests for other players within the park. We will note the ride-share requests in the player evaluation sheets we send out before evaluations. During the draft, when a player with a ride-share request is drafted, the second player is immediately drafted by that team as well. The second player will cost the team a draft pick at a round that is agreed upon by the other coaches.
Player Protects - We do not allow player protects at this time.
