Core Rules By Age Group
EOS Tournament - Spring 2025
T-Ball (Ages 3-4)
Bat
: A lightweight, usually with a length of around 24-26 inches. They will be marked at T-Ball bats.
Glove
: A soft, smaller glove (9-10.5 inches) designed for young players to easily catch balls.
Helmet
: A fitted helmet for safety during batting and running bases.
Cleats
: Baseball cleats or any cleats you already have.
Bag
5-6 Year Olds
Bat
: A slightly larger bat, around 26-28 inches, made from lightweight aluminum or composite.

It is recommended you get a big barrel USSSA bat.
Glove
: A glove ranging from 10-11 inches
Helmet
: Still required for safety when batting, with a more snug fit.

7-8 Year Olds
Bat
: A bat that is between 26-28 inches. It will be a little heavier, but still light enough to swing comfortably.

: A glove between 10.5-11.5 inches

: A bat in the 29-30 inch range, made from either aluminum or composite material.

: A glove ranging from 11.5-12 inches to handle more advanced catching and throwing.

: A helmet with a face guard is recommended

: A bat that is 30-32 inches long, made from composite or alloy material.

: A helmet with a face guard is necessary, especially as pitches become faster and more unpredictable.
